Our Mission

EnvironmentNEPAL provides independent, free coverage of Nepal's environment. We aggregate news from trusted sources, document the country's national parks, recommend environmental books, and present environmental data in accessible formats.

What We Cover

• News — Curated headlines and snippets from Nepal's leading newspapers and environmental outlets. We link to original sources with full attribution.
• National Parks — Detailed guides to all 12 of Nepal's national parks, including wildlife, fees, seasons, and how to reach them.
• Books — Monthly featured book on environment, conservation, or nature writing, with original reviews.
• Data — Live air quality data for major Nepali cities via the AQI Dashboard.

Editorial Principles

• Content Integrity — We never republish full articles. Only headlines, 1-2 sentence snippets, source links, and attribution.
• No Membership — No sign-up, login, or user accounts. Everything is public and free.
• Ethical Aggregation — We respect robots.txt, use reasonable delays, and identify our user-agent.
• No AI-Generated Content — All editorial content is human-curated. We use AI only for podcast audio generation (clearly labeled).
